December 6, 2024: Garland, TX The Brighter Horizons Academy Stars (Garland, TX) basketball edged the visiting Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX), 56-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Stars now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Wylie Prep Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10. Brighter Horizons Academy will play a Patriots team coming off a 44-35 non-league loss to Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Hudson falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Lutheran South Academy lost 77-36 in their recent non-league bout against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX)
