The Pollok Central Bulldogs basketball squad (Pollok, TX), was nudged 48-44 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX)

With the victory, Corsicana advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Tigers host Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX) to meet the Jaguars in a 5A Region II District 15 battle on Tuesday, December 17. The Jaguars enter the battle with a record of 7-8.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palestine for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 7. Pollok Central will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 74-45 non-league win over Timpson (Timpson, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
