In Friday's non-league test, the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) basketball squad trounced the visiting Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), by a final score of 61-34.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) in a Southern Maryland test, on Monday, December 9. La Plata will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 73-39 league loss to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD).

The Cavaliers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Bladensburg bounced Friendly (Fort Washington, MD), 63-55, in a non-league test.
