Oklahoma High School Basketball - Davenport nips Newkirk
December 6, 2024: Davenport, OK 74026 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Davenport Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 41-36 triumph over the Newkirk Tigers.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Commerce (Commerce, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Commerce was tipped by Oilton (Oilton, OK), 72-67, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) in a 89er - West contest, on Friday, December 6. Newkirk will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
