The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dell City Cougars (Dell City, TX) and the visiting El Paso HomeSchool Panthers (El Paso, TX), observed Dell City's basketball team edge El Paso HomeSchool by a score of 52-49.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Big Bend (Terlingua, TX). The Roadrunners come into the 1A Region II District 9 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Big Bend was tipped by Sanderson (Sanderson, TX), 35-23, in a non-league challenge.
