Iowa High School Basketball - Don Bosco bested by Houston
December 6, 2024: Gilbertville, IA 50634 Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA), 93-77 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Houston advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Center Grove (Greenwood, IN) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 1-2. Center Grove won 50-43 in their recent non-league match against Franklin Community (Franklin, IN)
The Dons now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarksville for a Iowa Star match on Friday, December 6. Don Bosco will face a Indians squad coming off a 62-43 league loss to Janesville (Janesville, IA). The Indians record now stands at 0-1.
