Texas High School Basketball - Georgetown thwarts Midway
December 6, 2024: Georgetown, TX 78626 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) and the visiting Midway Panthers (Waco, TX), observed Georgetown's basketball team knock off Midway by a score of 48-35.
The Eagles (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Dripping Springs prevailed over McNeil (Austin, TX), 59-52, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Midway will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 73-46 non-league win over McNeil (Austin, TX).
