December 6, 2024: Kinross, MI 49752 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen (Harbor Springs, MI) and the host Maplewood Baptist Academy Black Bears (Kinross, MI), observed Harbor Light Christian's basketball team knock off Maplewood Baptist Academy by a score of 67-58.
The Swordsmen (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, MI). The Lancers come into the Northern Lakes challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Ellsworth was knocked off by Bellaire (Bellaire, MI), 47-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Black Bears encounter the Newberry Indians (Newberry, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Maplewood Baptist Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
