California High School Basketball - Hawthorne triumphant over Lennox Academy
December 6, 2024: Lennox, CA 90304 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA) and the host Lennox Academy Panthers (Lennox, CA), observed Hawthorne's basketball team overwhelm Lennox Academy by a score of 72-51.
The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawndale (Lawndale, CA). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Lawndale was routed by Upland (Upland, CA), 49-43, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes (Carson, CA) in a Coastal challenge, on Monday, December 9. Lennox Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 52-35 non-league win over Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA).
