The Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) basketball edged the visiting Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC), 59-57 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Catamounts now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host East Wake for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Panther Creek will play a Warriors team coming off a 72-52 non-league loss to Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
