December 6, 2024: Lufkin, TX 75901 The Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Kingwood Park Panthers (Kingwood, TX), 79-46 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Nacogdoches for a 5A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, December 10. Lufkin will play a Dragons team coming off a 58-49 league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Kingwood Park falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7.
