December 6, 2024: Wellsboro, PA 16901 Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Wellsboro Hornets (Wellsboro, PA), 46-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Loyalsock Township upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Lancers host Danville (Danville, PA) to face the Ironmen in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11. The Ironmen enter the match with a record of 2-1. Danville won 56-45 in their recent league match against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA)
The Hornets now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sayre for a Northern Tier match on Thursday, December 12. Wellsboro will face a Redskins squad coming off a 46-42 league loss to Towanda (Towanda, PA). The Redskins record now stands at 2-1.
