With the victory, Rio Hondo upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Bobcats host Lyford (Lyford, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region IV District 32 match on Tuesday, December 10. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 7-4. Lyford lost 53-36 in their recent non-league match against Palmview (La Joya, TX)
The Tigers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Economedes for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Valley View will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 45-43 non-league loss to Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-7.
