Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Glens Falls Black Bears (Glens Falls, NY), 56-42 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Ballston Spa advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Scotties travel to Queensbury (Queensbury, NY) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 1-1. Queensbury lost 38-33 in their recent league match against Broadalbin-Perth (Broadalbin, NY)

The Black Bears now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corinth for a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. Glens Falls will face a Riverhawks squad coming off a 46-37 non-league win over Galway (Galway, NY). The Riverhawks record now stands at 1-0.
