Virginia High School Basketball - Cape Henry Collegiate holds off Hickory
December 6, 2024: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 The Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Hickory Hawks to 40 in the Dolphins non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dolphins now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Peninsula Catholic for a TCIS game on Tuesday, December 10. Cape Henry Collegiate will confront a Knights team coming off a 48-13 non-league loss to StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Hickory falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 0-2. First Colonial lost 70-46 in their recent league game against Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA)
