In Friday's non-league contest, the host Chatham HomeSchool Thunder basketball team scored a good 53-37 win over the Cary Christian Knights.

The Thunder (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Wake (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Sabres come into the North Carolina Home Education - East contest with a 10-0 record.
