Washington High School Basketball - Woodland triumphant over Centralia
December 6, 2024: Centralia, WA 98531 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Woodland Beavers (Woodland, WA) and the host Centralia Tigers (Centralia, WA), observed Woodland's basketball team overwhelm Centralia by a margin of 56-18.
The Beavers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mark Morris (Longview, WA). The Monarchs come into the 2A Greater St. Helens challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Mark Morris was trounced by Mountain View (Vancouver, WA), 59-34, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Evergreen Wolverines (Seattle, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Centralia will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 36-21 league loss to Foster (Tukwila, WA).
