December 6, 2024: Waco, TX 76705 Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), 56-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Estacado upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Matadors travel to Midland Christian (Midland, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 5-2. Midland Christian lost 44-25 in their recent non-league match against Glen Rose (Glen Rose, TX)
The Cadets now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belton for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Connally will face a Tigers squad coming off a 43-22 non-league loss to Kennedale (Kennedale, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-10.
