December 6, 2024: Refugio, TX 78377 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Refugio Bobcats basketball team scored a good 57-40 triumph over the George West Longhorns.
The Bobcats (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Robstown (Robstown, TX). The Cottonpickers go into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Robstown topped Mathis (Mathis, TX), 51-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. George West will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 39-31 non-league loss to Sinton (Sinton, TX).
