With the victory, Hartselle advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Tigers host Athens (Athens, AL) to face the Golden Eagles in a 6A Area 15 match on Tuesday, December 10. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 7-3. Athens won 52-50 in their recent league match against Decatur (Decatur, AL)
The Spartans now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hueytown for a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. Mountain Brook will face a Golden Gophers squad coming off a 49-41 non-league win over Pelham (Pelham, AL). The Golden Gophers record now stands at 3-5.
