The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) and the host Holly Grove Christian Eagles (Westover, MD), observed Laurel's basketball team knock off Holly Grove Christian by a score of 30-18.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE). The Seahawks come into the Henlopen - Southern challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Sussex Academy was knocked off by Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE), 47-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Holly Grove Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Ponies come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 45-23 non-league loss to Salisbury (Salisbury, MD).
