December 6, 2024: Gladewater, TX 75647 The Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX) basketball were winner over the host Sabine Cardinals (Gladewater, TX), 50-39 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Hill for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Jefferson will play a Panthers team coming off a 50-42 non-league loss to Tenaha (Tenaha, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Sabine falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals host West Rusk (New London, TX) to play the Raiders in a 3A Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-7. West Rusk lost 66-13 in their recent non-league bout against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX)
