December 6, 2024: Buda, TX 78610 Pflugerville Panthers (Pflugerville, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX), 51-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Pflugerville advances its record to 8-8 on the year. The Panthers host Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Knights enter the match with a record of 12-5. Harker Heights won 45-28 in their recent non-league match against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX)
The Jaguars now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Judson for a 6A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, December 10. Johnson will face a Rockets squad coming off a 47-41 non-league win over Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 17-1.
