December 6, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70607 The Kaplan Pirates basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers to 44 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Hathaway for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Kaplan will confront a Hornets team coming off a 51-46 non-league loss to Midland (Midland, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Lake Charles College Prep falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Marksville (Marksville, LA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 4-4. Marksville won 49-41 in their recent non-league game against North Central (Lebeau, LA)
