In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lawndale Cardinals basketball team scored a good 56-45 win over the Valley Christian Defenders.

The Cardinals (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Gardena (Gardena, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Gardena was topped by Jordan (Long Beach, CA), 54-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Defenders battle the Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Valley Christian will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record.
