December 6, 2024: Royse City, TX 75189 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) and the host Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX), observed Lovejoy's basketball team knock off Royse City by a score of 47-32.
The Leopards (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tyler (Tyler, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Tyler prevailed over Terrell (Terrell, TX), 58-31, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Rockwall Yellowjackets (Rockwall, TX) in a 6A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Royse City will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 59-28 non-league win over Skyline (Dallas, TX).
