In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lumberton Pirates basketball team scored a big 60-22 triumph over the South Columbus Stallions.

The Pirates (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts go into the 3A/4A United 8 contest with a 3-0 record.

In their next game, the Stallions confront the Johnsonville Flashes (Johnsonville, SC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. South Columbus will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Flashes go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 60-18 non-league loss to Kingstree (Kingstree, SC).
