California High School Basketball - Merced thwarts Ripon

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Merced Bears (Merced, CA) and the visiting Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), observed Merced's basketball team knock off Ripon by a score of 41-33.

The Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakdale (Oakdale, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Oakdale dropped by Gregori (Modesto, CA), 50-24, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Ripon will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
