The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the The First Academy Royals (Orlando, FL) and the host Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL), observed The First Academy's basketball team overwhelm Mitchell by a score of 68-34.

The Royals (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Ridge (Orlando, FL). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Oak Ridge trounced Colonial (Orlando, FL), 59-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 54-44 non-league win over Classical Prep (Spring Hill, FL).
