Mississippi High School Basketball - Seminary toppled by Northeast Jones
December 6, 2024: Laurel, MS 39443 Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS) fans went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team knock off the visiting Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS), 53-37 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Greene County dropped by West Jones (Laurel, MS), 43-23, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the North Forrest Eagles (Hattiesburg, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Seminary will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 62-51 non-league loss to Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS).
