Louisiana High School Soccer - Southside toppled by Dutchtown
December 6, 2024: Geismar, LA 70734 Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Dutchtown moves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Cubs in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 10. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 10-0. Mt. Carmel won 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA)
The Sharks now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Catholic - N.I. for a non-league test on Monday, December 9. Southside will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
