In Friday's non-league contest, the host Cherry Creek Bruins ice hockey team scored a close 6-0 victory over the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks.

The Bruins (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Grandview (Aurora, CO). The Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.

In their next game, the Red-Tailed Hawks play the Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a 4A North contest, on Saturday, December 7. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
