Georgia High School Basketball - Alcovy overwhelms Jasper County
December 6, 2024: Monticello, GA 31064 The Alcovy Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Jasper County Hurricanes to 20 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Clarke Central for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Alcovy will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Jasper County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Jackson (Jackson, GA) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 0-0.
