The Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) basketball edged the host Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), 55-52 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Grove for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, Northeast Guilford falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Williams (Burlington, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Williams won 34-32 in their recent non-league bout against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC)
