December 6, 2024: Minden, LA 71058 Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Byrd advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Leesville (Leesville, LA) to clash with the Wampus Cats in a non-league test on Saturday, December 7. The Wampus Cats come into the test with a record of 2-5. Leesville won 7-0 in their recent league test against Buckeye (Buckeye, LA)
The Crimson Tide now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caddo Magnet for a Division II District 1 test on Saturday, December 7. Minden will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-5.
