December 6, 2024: Kake, AK 99830 The Nelson Island Islanders (Toksook Bay, AK) volleyball knocked off the host Kake Thunderbirds (Kake, AK), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Islanders now possess a 24-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tikigaq for a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. Nelson Island will clash with a Harpooners team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Nunamiut (Anaktuvik Pass, AK). The Harpooners record now stands at 23-4.
With the loss, Kake drops to 6-2 on the campaign.
