Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team smash the visiting Midway Panthers (Waco, TX), 67-43 in a non-league contest.

The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Killeen, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Chaparral smashed Leander (Leander, TX), 59-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Midway will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 51-44 non-league win over Weatherford (Weatherford, TX).
