Texas High School Basketball - Boerne-Champion bested by United South
December 6, 2025: Boerne, TX 78006 United South Panthers (Laredo, TX) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball team thwart the host Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX), 38-30 in a non-league contest.
The Panthers (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Somerset topped Vela (Edinburg, TX), 71-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Clark Cougars (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Boerne-Champion will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 7-5 record after their 45-42 non-league win over O'Connor (Helotes, TX).
