December 6, 2025: Mayville, NY 14757 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Dunkirk Marauders (Dunkirk, NY) and the host Chautauqua Lake Eagles (Mayville, NY), observed Dunkirk's basketball team overwhelm Chautauqua Lake by a score of 89-46.
The Marauders (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cassadaga Valley (Sinclairville, NY). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Cassadaga Valley walloped Pine Valley Central (South Dayton, NY), 43-22, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clymer Central for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West battle on Thursday, December 11.
