Illinois High School Basketball - Webber overwhelms Cisne
December 6, 2025: Bluford, IL 62814 The Webber Trojans basketball team scored 88 points and limited the visiting Cisne Runnin' Lions to 44 in the Trojans league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Eldorado for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Webber will confront a Eagles team coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Meridian (Mounds, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Cisne falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Runnin' lions host Wayne City (Wayne City, IL) to play the Indians in a Midland Trail bout on Tuesday, December 9. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Wayne City lost 68-46 in their recent non-league bout against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Norris City, IL)
