The Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles basketball squad scored 84 points and restricted the host Madison Mavericks to 59 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 outing, on Tuesday, December 16. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record.
