Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host East Chapel Hill Wildcats (Chapel Hill, NC), 75-70 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Fuquay - Varina advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Bengals travel to Clayton (Clayton, NC) to battle the Comets in a Greater Neuse River 7A contest on Tuesday, December 9. The Comets go into the contest with a record of 3-4. Clayton lost 68-55 in their recent non-league contest against Trinity Christian (Fayetteville, NC)

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 8. East Chapel Hill will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 86-65 non-league win over Northern Durham (Durham, NC).
