In Saturday's non-league test, the Katy Tigers (Katy, TX) basketball squad defeated the visiting Foster Falcons (Richmond, TX), by a final score of 68-58.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 test, on Tuesday, December 9. Katy will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 13-0 record after their 65-52 non-league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX).

With the loss, Foster falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX) to play the Buffalos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. The Buffalos go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Fort Bend Marshall won 77-55 in their recent non-league bout against Dekaney (Houston, TX)
