In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Wiley Panthers basketball team scored a big 67-31 win over the Hi-Plains Patriots.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Springfield, CO). The Longhorns enter the 1A Arkansas Valley match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Springfield was crushed by Sublette (Sublette, KS), 74-34, in a non-league match.
