In Saturday's non-league test, the Montgomery Academy Eagles (Montgomery, AL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL), by a tally of 56-47.

The Eagles now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Dallas County for a 3A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, December 9. Montgomery Academy will play a Hornets team coming off a 58-56 league loss to Thorsby (Thorsby, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Huntsville falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9.
