The Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), 83-58 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Estacado for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. Permian will play a Matadors team coming off a 86-42 non-league win over Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Jay falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host McCollum (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Cowboys in a 5A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, December 9. The Cowboys come into the test with a record of 3-7. McCollum lost 61-32 in their recent non-league test against Brandeis (San Antonio, TX)
