Missouri High School Basketball - Marquette overwhelms Jefferson City
December 6, 2025: Jefferson City, MO 65101 The Marquette Mustangs basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Jefferson City Jays to 33 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster Christian for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 10. Marquette will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 78-39 non-league win over Hickman (Columbia, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Jefferson City falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Jays travel to Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, December 12. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 1-1. Warrensburg won 71-36 in their recent non-league game against Adrian (Adrian, MO)
