The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) and the visiting Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX), observed Permian's basketball team overcome Kermit by a margin of 62-50.

The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Jay (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Jay dropped by Memorial (Houston, TX), 51-48, in a non-league challenge.
