Texas High School Basketball - South Houston succumbs to Kingwood Park
December 6, 2025: Kingwood, TX 77339 The Kingwood Park Panthers (Kingwood, TX) basketball toppled the visiting South Houston Trojans (South Houston, TX), 54-40 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Magnolia for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. Kingwood Park will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, South Houston falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Trojans host Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX) to play the Texans in a 6A Region III District 22 test on Friday, December 12. The Texans come into the test with a record of 7-7.
