The New Castle Hurricanes were victorious over the visiting Knoch Knights basketball team by a margin of 58-39 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Hurricanes now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Montour for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. New Castle will confront a Spartans team coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Knoch falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Valley (New Kensington, PA) to confront the Vikings in a WPIAL 4A 1 game on Friday, December 12. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 1-0.
